Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate, creative, and experienced Video Animation Trainer to join our faculty. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and guiding students from diverse backgrounds, transforming them into skilled video animators and motion graphics artists. The ideal candidate will not only have a strong command of industry-standard animation software but also possess a genuine desire to uplift others through education and practical mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Delivery: Conduct engaging, hands-on classes on video editing, 2D/3D animation, and motion graphics.
Curriculum Development: Design, update, and refine course materials, project assignments, and lesson plans to keep pace with current industry trends and global market demands.
Practical Mentorship: Guide students through the creation of professional portfolios, showreels, and real-world projects.
Evaluation & Feedback: Assess student performance through assignments and quizzes, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their technical and creative skills.
Freelance Guidance: Teach students how to monetize their skills on platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, and freelancer.com, which is a core objective of the SMIT program.
Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating learning environment for a large number of students.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software, including:
Bonus: Knowledge of 3D animation software (Blender, Cinema 4D, or Maya) is highly preferred.
Industry Experience: Proven track record as a Motion Graphics Artist, Video Editor, or Animator with a strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating creative and technical abilities.
Teaching Experience: Prior experience in teaching, training, or mentoring is highly desirable. Ability to break down complex concepts into simple, digestible lessons.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Urdu and English.
Soft Skills: Patience, empathy, strong leadership qualities, and a passion for community service and youth empowerment.
Experience
Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in video animation, motion graphics, or video production.
At least 1 year of teaching or corporate training experience (preferred).
