About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically capable SQA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications.
You’ll work closely with developers and product teams to plan and execute testing, identify and investigate defects, validate new features, and support stable product releases.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
Perform functional, UI, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
Test web and mobile applications across different devices, operating systems, and environments.
Validate new features, bug fixes, and product changes before release.
Perform pre-release testing and support release readiness.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
Create clear and reproducible bug reports with supporting evidence.
Re-test resolved issues and perform regression testing.
Work closely with developers to investigate and reproduce technical issues.
Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Validate API requests, responses, authentication, error handling, and data flow.
Work with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation and validate frontend-backend integrations.
Test edge cases, usability, real-world scenarios, and potential product risks.
Maintain test documentation and contribute to improving QA processes and test coverage.
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications
2–3 years of professional experience in SQA / Software Testing.
Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications.
Strong understanding of QA processes and software testing methodologies.
Experience with functional, regression, integration, UI, and exploratory testing.
Strong test case and test scenario creation skills.
Experience with Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar defect tracking tools.
Hands-on API testing experience with Postman or similar tools.
Ability to understand Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
Good understanding of software development and defect lifecycles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
⭐ Nice to Have
Experience testing Android and iOS applications.
Familiarity with Selenium, Appium, Katalon, or similar automation tools.
Basic SQL/database validation knowledge.
Familiarity with Git and software development workflows.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Basic understanding of application logs and debugging.
