We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated *Senior Java Spring Boot Developer* with 5-8 years of hands-on experience for our client . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Java-based web development using the Spring Boot framework, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility to work from home 3 days a week and requires you to work from the office for 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and build robust applications.
Integrate applications with various databases, RESTful APIs, and third-party services.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to backend development.
Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java development and backend technologies.
Requirements:
5-8 years of professional experience in Java development with a strong focus on Spring Boot
Proficiency in Java 8+, with solid understanding of object-oriented design and principles.
Experience in developing and maintaining microservices architectures using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
Hands-on experience with RESTful web services and integration with various data stores like lMySQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
Strong understanding of multithreading, caching and distributed systems
Experience working with version control systems (e.g., *Git*).
Solid experience in using unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote and in-office setup.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Experience with *containerization*and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular) is a plus.
Experience working in teams that deliver solutions for large-scale systems.
