Minecraft Java Developer

OverviewWe are hiring an experienced Minecraft Java Edition Developer to create a branded, guided gameplay experience built on Java Edition 1.20+.

The role requires a blend of plugin development, world-building oversight, light behavioural/gameplay logic, and region-based access control.

We will provide full creative direction and internal documentation once contracted.

ResponsibilitiesCustom Minecraft Plugin Development (Java / Paper / Purpur)

Build custom mechanics and lightweight interactions within a small, curated world.

Implement simple entity interaction logic (non-combat).

Build configurable features and cosmetic effects.

Handle performance optimization, event handling, and multiplayer stability.

World Integration & Technical Setup

Integrate a fully custom, hand-built world created by our builder or your team.

Ensure clean spawn flow, stable navigation, and seamless experience.

Set up the required server stack, configs, resource pack hooks, and basic scripts.

Behavioural / Environmental Logic

Implement basic real-time conditional logic (example: visual or mood changes depending on the player’s real-world time).

No complex gameplay systems required, just lightweight ambience adjustments.

Regional Access Control

Implement IP-based geofencing so that only players from a specific region can join.

Provide a simple, user-friendly message for blocked regions.

Deployment & Hosting

Prepare and optimize a server-ready build.

Handle restarts, backups, basic monitoring setup.

Build or configure a simplified launcher or joining mechanism.

Documentation & Testing

Provide clear instructions for configs and setup.

Conduct QA testing for stability and edge cases.
