Project Manager - Remote
Salary Range: 175k to 200k
Location: Remote 1:30 Pm to 10:30 Pm
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Project Manager to join our team and contribute to the achievement of ambitious business goals. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple workstreams, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project risks.
Role Summary:
The Project Manager will coordinate and manage project workstreams, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams, departments, and management. The ideal candidate will also assist in the development of tools and frameworks and ensure compliance with relevant governmental guidelines. Additionally, flexibility in supporting various business areas will be key.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Tasks:
- Monitor project workstreams to ensure they are on schedule, within budget, and aligned with objectives.
- Conduct daily stand-ups or check-ins with teams to assess progress and identify any blockers.
- Maintain and update project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com) to track task progress and ensure visibility.
- Liaise with team members and department leads to gather updates, assign tasks, and maintain alignment.
- Share daily/weekly progress briefings with management, highlighting key achievements, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.
Weekly Tasks:
- Develop and distribute a comprehensive status report for management, summarizing project progress, risks, and next steps.
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs), ensuring they are relevant and effective.
- Facilitate video calls with global teams to align on objectives and address cross-departmental concerns.
- Gather user feedback on tools and liaise with the tech team to prioritize feature developments or resolve issues.
Monthly Tasks:
- Oversee collection and reporting of key UK governmental or project-related metrics to ensure compliance with regulations and UKSPF guidelines.
- Prepare detailed outcome and output reports for management, addressing performance metrics, risks, and corrective actions.
- Conduct project retrospective reviews to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements.
Ad-Hoc Tasks:
- Act as a conduit between management and teams to communicate key decisions and strategy updates.
- Assist in creating and refining tools and frameworks to support business operations, including lead generation systems.
- Provide support in outreach, marketing, or campaign efforts when required.
- Lead by example in all aspects of communication, collaboration, and task management.
Job Requirements:
- Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven track record in project management, preferably in business support or digital transformation settings.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Tech Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com).
- Flexibility: Ability to collaborate with global teams during UK business hours.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify challenges and proactively implement solutions.
- Leadership: Lead by example and promote accountability and excellence within the team.
