Operations and Maintenance Manager - Electrical Engineering
Working Hours: 12pm to 8pm
Working Days: Mon to Sat (Sun Off)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Manager with an electrical engineering background to oversee facility operations, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance. This role requires an adept multitasker with strong management skills to maintain smooth operational processes, ensure tenant satisfaction, and uphold facility standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Management:
- Oversee the preparation, verification, and submission of invoices to tenants.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all billing cycles and resolve discrepancies as needed.
Generator Billing:
- Manage the generator billing process, ensuring precise usage tracking and invoice generation for tenants.
- Maintain clear records and address any billing issues promptly.
Monthly Financial Vouchers:
- Supervise monthly voucher generation, verify expenses, and reconcile accounts.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate reporting.
Facility Maintenance Coordination:
- Direct maintenance activities across civil, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Schedule repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance to ensure infrastructure integrity.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
- Work closely with the legal team to address any compliance or regulatory issues impacting mall operations.
- Ensure all activities adhere to local laws and standards.
Liaison with Government Departments:
- Facilitate communication and coordination with relevant government bodies to ensure efficient operations and task alignment.
Routine Inspections:
- Conduct rounds of the premises every 2 hours to ensure safety, cleanliness, and address any immediate issues, enhancing the visitor experience.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Cleanliness and Aesthetics:
- Oversee and maintain cleanliness and presentation of common areas to ensure a welcoming environment for visitors.
Deep Cleaning Coordination:
- Plan and manage deep cleaning activities, maintaining hygiene and the mall’s visual standards.
Pest Control and Fumigation:
- Arrange for regular fumigation and pest control to ensure a pest-free environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, with 4-5 years in facilities management or operations, particularly with electrical systems.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Expertise in electrical systems and facility maintenance.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills, with ability to handle regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in financial tasks, such as generating invoices and managing records.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in large facilities, as well as generator billing and usage tracking.
Managerial Abilities:
- Team management skills and experience with compliance matters; strong customer service focus to ensure tenant satisfaction.
Additional Requirements:
- Regular inspections every two hours and commitment to cleanliness, fumigation, and pest control to maintain high facility standards.
