Description
Key Requirements:
- ACCA/CA fully qualified, with 7+ years of industry experience.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting, profit and loss management, and UK accountancy practices based in Pakistan.
- Proficiency in managing accounting cycles and adept with software like Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to advise on financial strategies and improve organisational financial health
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all financial activities, including profit and loss statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and accurate record-keeping
- Prepare and manage UK VAT returns and oversee tax compliance
- Advise management on financial strategies and insights to promote financial efficiency
- Set up and maintain the accounting cycle, leveraging Xero and other relevant tools
- Manage month-end and year-end closings for timely reporting
